One of a Kind
Each product is handmade, and therefore, unique and minimal variations may occur resulting in slight differences that may not be visible in the published images on the website, or items in stock. While stone and metal colours may vary, sizes will be accurate within reason. We are also aware that the digital appearance of the image and colour of items may vary due to the monitor, browser, or software calibrations on browsing devices in use. Şenay Akın does not take the responsibility of such variations in digital appearence.
Ordering Online
Online payments can be completed through Paypal, paid online by credit card or by direct SWIFT transfer. Please note that additional fees will occur while making a SWIFT transfer. When the customer makes the payment, s/hewill receive an email confirming that the order has been placed. If you struggle to pay online, please contact us directly.
Delivery Information
Online purchases are subject to a postage and packaging charge, whose amount will depend on the purchase value and the shipping address. All domestic orders are sent via Yurtiçi Kargo, and all other international orders are either sent via registered Turkish Postal Services, or swift couriered via DHL.
Express courier rate in all directions: 15USD
International delivery is the responsibility of the postal service in the destination country and Şenay Akın cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by the local country postal service, or customs checks. The customer is responsible for all customs charges that may occur. The customer will be provided with a tracking number for the placed order when it gets dispatched.
Delivery time varies depending on the collection. We endeavour to deliver within 5-15 working days within Turkey and 10-25 working days in other countries for registered flat rate shippings. . Maximum delivery time is 4 weeks if the item has been made to order and the customer is kept fully informed in such cases.
Express courier deliveries are estimated within 3 working days.
Please note that the payment of any import duties is the responsibility of the recipient of the order and not Şenay Akın.
We are unable to accept responsibility for the non-arrival of returned items and therefore recommend that orders be sent by insured special delivery. Please note that the cost of shipping is not refundable. In the interests of fraud prevention, your refund will be issued with the same method and you will receive the full amount of your payment following a period of 28 days.
Repairs and Reconditioning
If you feel that your piece has a structural fault, please contact us to arrange a full inspection.
We assess repairs on a case-by-case basis. We are committed to making our customers happy so please contact us as soon as possible if you experience any issues with your purchase.
Some of Şenay Akın jewellery has been oxidised in order to give it a blackened finish. As this is a surface covering it will wear over time and the silver beneath the surface will show through. This is an intentional element of the design, but if you would like your jewellery to be re-oxidised we can do so at the cost of customer’s shipping expenses.
When ordering rings online it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure they have ordered the correct size. If the ring is suitable for re-sizing, we will happily re-size but please note that a charge may occur.
Custom Orders
We offer a bespoke service allowing our customers to have entirely unique items designed especially for them. This service is limited to original designs that capture the ethos of the brand only. A one hour consultation can be attended in person at the Şenay Akın Atelier, or an email/telephone conversation can be arranged. Turn around times for bespoke orders are 3-6 weeks. Quotes on bespoke orders are valid for 30 days and we reserve the right to change prices prior to confirmation of order, depending on the fluctuation of material costs such as precious metals.
A bespoke or customised order cannot be changed or cancelled once your deposit has been paid. This is your agreement and commitment to the order.
For bespoke and customised orders we require a 50% deposit as the confirmation of your order before production begins. At this point we will assume thaht you are committed to the purchase. The remaining amount will then be paid in full before the collection, or dispatch of the order. Payments can be made by debit cards, credit cards, or bank transfers. Items remain the property of Şenay Akın until fully paid for.
Security
This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. All data is protected.

Return Policy
Purchased items can be returned within the first 7 days of purchase, together with their accesories and gifts (if available) in their original packaging and unused conditions. In such cases, the customer is charged a usage and service fee of %15 that derive from seller’s rights. The customer has the right to return faulty items within the first 7 days of purchase without being charged any fees.
Şenay Akın reserves the right to change, or modify pricing. Prices can be affected by sudden fluctuations in market conditions. Şenay Akın cannot be held responsible for prices going up, or down.
Şenay Akın is not responsible for deformations, breaks, damages etc. resulting from usage. As such, demands for returns, or exchanges on these grounds will not be accepted.
If the delivery is handled by a courier service, the customer should only accept the parcel after having checked the state of the purchased item – without causing any damages to the original packaging. In case of damages, or problems that might have occurred during delivery, the customer should request an official report from the delivery person. Şenay Akın is not responsible for errors caused by courier services.
Customers should contact senay@senayakin.com in order to return items that comply with the return conditions, together with the accompanying gifts, warranties (if applicable) and receipts.
If the receipt of an item to be returned belongs to an institution, the same institution is expected to provide an invoice of return.
Customers are responsible for all delivery charges related to the good to be returned. If the item in question qualifies with the conditions of return, Şenay Akın will carry on either with an exchange, or refund procedure. The total sum of refund will go into the customer’s bank account 5 working-days following the arrival of the returned product to Şenay Akın. Depending on the performance of your bank, the total sum of refund will reflect on your credit card as “account in credit” within 10 working days. The speed of this process fully depends on your bank and Şenay Akın does not have the right to intervene.
